Wind Shield (風の護盾 Kaze no Godate)[1] is a defensive spell cast by Shamal in StrikerS. It seems to be quite strong and durable as it is able to defend easily the quarters of Riot Force 6 from Otto's Ray Storm, until interrupted by Zafira's fall.
Notably, before its first use in StrikerS, Wind Shield has already been shown in an artwork of A's.[2] The timepoint of that image is in between the Wolkenritter's first appearance in front of Hayate and the receipt of Knight Clothing design.
In The Battle of Aces, Wind Shield is also one of Shamal's moves to create shields in the air to protect against attacks from one direction. Unlike the anime version, it has a different design of flat whirlwinds.
Name
Literally, Kaze no Godate is Japanese for "Wind's Protection Shield".
