SummaryEdit

The next morning, Lutecia wakes early and finds Corona, who has been practicing with her new Device, Brunzel. After breakfast, the two teams meet up on the training grounds and Nove explains the rules: each of the twelve mages is assigned virtual hit points, and successful magical attacks reduce them until he or she is out of the game. Everyone casts their Barrier Jackets, and Megane, who observes the battle with Garyu, Fried and Sein, gives the sign to begin. The match opens with the teams evenly matched: Subaru vs. Nove, Vivio vs. Einhard, Rio vs. Corona, Fate vs. Erio, Lutecia vs. Caro, and Teana vs. Nanoha. Subaru and Nove are a match for each other, so it is Vivio who draws the "first blood" but Einhard quickly gets even. Meanwhile, Rio chases Corona to an open space, where the latter summons a Golem to fight for her.
