Redirect links[]

Why is there a link to cartridge if it just redirects you here? Seems kinda pointless to me. -GlancingReverse

It's for those articles that have sentences like "By expending cartridges, the Device can..." If there weren't a redirect, you'd have to pothole each occurrence of the word "cartridge" without the "system" manually. --Koveras Alvane 04:32, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
I understand that, I'm wondering why cartridge system itself has a link to itself. Seems kind of pointless to me. -GlancingReverse
Ah, sorry, I didn't understand. ^^ The link is actually pointless, except that it lets editors know that there is a redirect from "cartridge" without opening the "What links here" special page... --Koveras Alvane 19:45, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

Calibers[]

I'm just asking for fun of it, but is there any fan-theory about which casing calibers the Devices use? I'm not sure where I heard it from, but Laevateinn's look like .12 GA shells, Raising Heart's look like 5.56x45mm, and Bardiche's using .44 caliber. I know it's probably just fanon, but has anybody heard a convincing theory about it? Best regards, Foton. 86.36.49.1 17:23, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

I've never noticed any difference between the cartridges of different Devices but then again, I haven't looked at them very closely. Since each Device so far was unique, I see no reason why they cannot use custom-shaped cartridges, but I also don't see any reason for cartridges to have different forms... --Koveras Alvane 20:11, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
I remember an episode in which Signum enchants a box of what appear to be .44 Magnum rounds one at a time, which implies that Cartridges are not stand-alone magical items themselves, but mundane items imbued with magic. Sadly, I didn't see this mentioned in the article at all. 71.123.102.26 08:28, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
If you can recall what episode that is, you can add it to the article yourself. However, let me remind you that .44 Magnum rounds are not "mundane" items in Japan, since unlike in US, owning a gun or ammunition without a license is a criminal offense. It is thus far more likely that those cartidges were completely magical contructs that were merely shaped in the form of a box of Magnum rounds, which Signum may have seen on TV or elsewhere. --Koveras Alvane 11:04, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Auto list[]

I don't know how to make it work, but Graf Eisen & Laevatein are missing from the list. K.Hayes 06:48, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

To make a Device appear on the list here, you must add the keyword "uses::" to one of the wikilinks to Cartridge system on the Device's page, like this. --Koveras Alvane 12:27, January 2, 2011 (UTC)
