Strada (ストラーダ Sutorāda) is Erio Mondial's Armed Device. His male programmed gender could be observed during his conversation with Caro Ru Lushe. Strada speaks German, and possibly English (e.g. Sonic Move) since Erio also practises a few Midchildan spells.
Name
Strada may have been named after either Fiat Strada or Bizzarrini Strada. It also means "road" in Italian. In StrikerS opening theme one, Strada is coded XS-02.
Appearances
Strada makes his first and main appearance as Erio's main weapon in StrikerS and StrikerS manga. It then appears briefly in Sound Stage X, ViVid and Force.
Although Erio is wearing Strada (in its standby form) before the other three Forwards' Devices make an appearance, it can be assumed that Strada was created by Shario Finieno of Riot Force 6, since he was developed using the Devices of the two Sub-Commanders, i.e. Graf Eisen and Laevatein, as reference. His cartridge system is also similar to theirs. His forms are designed for hit-and-run battle styles, suiting Erio's high mobility and low defense.
