Magical Girl Lyrical NANOHA MOVIE 1st THE COMICS (魔法少女リリカルなのは MOVIE 1st THE COMICS) (also shortened by Tsuzuki as MTC) is the two-volume manga adaptation of The MOVIE 1st with a few different plots, primarily published from September 30, 2009[1] to December 27, 2010[2]. Unlike other Nanoha manga adaptations, it does not take place in the same continuity as the original anime nor movie.

The main difference is that the Presea Testarossa Incident ends earlier after Presea attacks Fate (from another dimensional space) for the first time. Nanoha has then not yet befriended Fate, and Fate is detained by TSAB. Later they perform a mock battle for the purpose of recording their magic data, and that is the first time Nanoha casts Starlight Breaker, defeating and then befriending Fate.

There was an extra 2-page trailer published two months before the first chapter. All chapters including the trailer were later published together in two bound volumes on June 30, 2010 and March 30, 2011.
